Introduction

Welcome to the iDayliff App — the smart monitoring and control platform from Davis & Shirtliff. This guide helps you get started, navigate key features, and make the most of the application.

User Roles

⭐ Super Admin

The first user to register with a site key. Has full access: monitor all parameters, remotely control equipment, approve or remove users, and access the Management tab.

👤 Standard User

Can monitor site parameters and view notifications. Must be approved by the Super Admin before gaining access. No access to Controls or Management.

Getting Started

Creating an Account

Download the iDayliff App from the App Store or Google Play Store.

Open the app and tap Sign Up.

Enter your Email, Full Name, Password and Site Key (provided by your technician or sales engineer).

Accept the Terms and Conditions and tap Sign Up.

Check your email inbox and complete the verification step.
ℹ️

The first person to register with a site key becomes Super Admin. All subsequent users must be approved before they can access the site.

Logging In

Launch the app.

Enter your registered email address and password.

Tap Log In.

Resetting Your Password

Password reset flow — step by step

Tap "Forgot Password?" on the login page.

Enter your registered email address and tap Submit.

Open the email from notifications@dayliff.com and click Reset Password.

Enter and confirm your new password, then tap Reset Password.

Return to the app and log in with your new credentials.

You can also reset your password from inside the app via Settings → Account.

Home Page

Home page
  • Top-left ☰ — tap to switch between sites
  • Tab bar — swipe to access all sections
  • Middle — health status, shortcuts, latest notifications, cumulative data
  • Bottom bar — Home, Notifications, Settings

Health & Log Analysis

Tap Health on the home screen to view reports from log analysis — summarising alarms, faults, warnings and events.

Home Page Tabs

Swipe left or right on the home page to move between tabs.

Parameters
  • Online if last updated within 20 minutes
  • Real-time sensor readings and equipment metrics
  • Digital status indicators (e.g. Pump On/Off)
  • Analogue parameters (e.g. Pump Current)
  • Derived parameters (e.g. Cumulative Flow)
Graphs

All graphable parameters displayed as line and bar graphs. Select a parameter and time range to explore historical trends.

Reports

Monthly cumulative performance graphs. Reports can be downloaded in CSV format for further analysis.

Start — Active Stop — Inactive

Active/Start state (left) & Inactive/Stop state (right)

  • To start: slide toggle right → status shows Active (blue) → tap Submit
  • To stop: slide toggle left → status shows Inactive (grey) → tap Submit

Controls take effect immediately but the app display may take up to 10 minutes to update. Always check the last-update timestamp.

Management
  • View all registered users for the site
  • Approve pending user access requests
  • Remove users who should no longer have access

Notifications

All system notifications appear here. Tap any notification to acknowledge it.

Notification Types

Alarm — Red Major fault causing a full system shutdown. Examples: overcurrent, low voltage, source low. Requires immediate attention.
Warning — Yellow Non-critical status change — system continues operating. Examples: pump stopped, tank level low.
Normal — Green Normal operational state. Examples: pump running, tank full.

Notification Logs

Notification log
  • All notifications recorded with a timestamp
  • Acknowledged notifications removed from active list but stored in logs
  • Tap "View All" in the details tab to access the full log
  • Each entry shows: parameter name, status and timestamp

Frequently Asked Questions

No. An active internet connection — mobile data or Wi-Fi — is required at all times.
There is no limit on the number of sites you can register to your account.
Yes. The Super Admin shares the site key with other authorised users. The maximum number of users depends on your subscription tier.
Check the last-update timestamp. If it is not refreshing, the site controller may be offline. Solar-powered systems only transmit when the solar system is active. Contact support if the issue persists.
Yes. Customisation is available with a Premium subscription. Contact the support centre for details.
